This conference comes at an opportune time when we need to focus on supporting local pharmaceutical and medical equipment manufacturers. Another crucial topic that we will address is the approval process and current need for oncology drugs. We aim to streamline the approval process to ensure timely access to life-saving medications for our patients.
Furthermore, we will explore ways to increase the availability and affordability of these drugs through collaborations with international organizations and pharmaceutical companies. Social, operational, and demographic barriers to cancer screening and prevention are significant challenges that we cannot overlook. We will delve into these issues and brainstorm effective solutions to overcome them. Raising cancer awareness among the population is essential, as early detection leads to better treatment outcomes and improved survivorship rates.
Establishing effective regional and international collaborations is vital in enhancing healthcare provided to cancer patients in Iraq.
